Leicestershire and Rutland Family History Society had a website but had lost access to it, so this was a “start again from scratch” project. We helped our client make the decisions about what they wanted on the new website. This included:
- Managing memberships and renewals online and offline.
- Running events at multiple centres around their area.
- Selling access to the data they have transcribed over the years.
- Managing donations and Gift Aid online.
As the new website was on a different technology to their old one, there was plenty of training provided, both in person and online.
The site has now been running for a year and has proved a successful project for the society,
