This is a different kind of website to our normal one, in that the aim is to create a hub of information for people wanting to walk in the Evesham area rather than promote one specific business. This meant creating a site that has minimal content of its own and lots of links to other sites, for things such as lists of accommodation and transport in the area. It had to be simple to navigate and definitely mobile-friendly.
It also contains a library of walks that people can do in the area. This uses the “custom post” structure of WordPress to enable users to put in the key information for each walk which is then displayed in a consistent manner. This included links to Google Maps and to the website with the detailed description of the walk.
