Exploring Google Analytics

Sometimes you need an independent view on your business.

Our client has a large and complex website which is managed by the third party. Whilst the support and day-to-day management was fine, they felt that the site wasn’t performing as they wanted.

We used Google Analytics to understand how customers were using the website and where people were “disappearing” from the site. From this we were able to create a list of the improvements that needed to be made to the website by the suppliers. This included listing where:

  • Links were missing
  • Content could be improved for SEO
  • Navigation around the site could be improved.

The client was able to go back to their supplier with confidence and the changes were made.
