Your business brand needs to be distinctive, attractive to your clients and make you recognisable immediately.
During the workshop we cover:
- Who your clients are and what will appeal to them
- How colours, images and words come together to make a brand
- How to apply these concepts to your business to build a strong brand.
The output of the workshop is a brief that you can take to a graphic designer and ask them to create your brand or you can have a go yourself.
Marketing is an essential part of any business - it's all about getting your business in front of your potential customers. Easy to say but it can be hard to do!
In this workshop we look at how you can set about marketing your business. We look at all the different channels you can use, discuss how to find your USP (Unique Selling Point) and look at the different techniques you can use to woo all those customers.
As part of the workshop you will start to create your marketing plan and by the finish you will know how to complete the plan and start marketing your business.
This is a follow-on workshop from "Building your brand".
Bring along your brand design to present to the other attendees. Get feedback from us and these potential clients to check the brand really works.
Once you have your brand rules, the key is to apply them consistently across all of your marketing material. We show you how to do this easily and effectively for websites, social media and printed material.
Getting your business concept across to everyone you meet is essential. In this workshop we look at:
The "7 Second Introduction" - Learn how to introduce yourself to others concisely and effectively at networking meetings.
Presenting a pitch - Learn how to present well and the pitfalls to avoid. We cover both the delivery of presentation and how to build effective slides that go with it.
There will be plenty of time to practise and get feedback on your introduction and pitch.
Presenting your business well online is as important as in person. In this workshop you will learn how to create a website that works and how to use social media to create your online sales funnel.
The output of this workshop is a brief for your business website, for you or your web designer to use, and a plan on how you will use social media to drive traffic to your business.

Working out how much you should charge for a product or service can be hard. Sometimes it feels as though you are a magician making numbers appear out of thin air. Yet there is a logic to pricing and the aim of this workshop is to show you how to apply it to your business.
In this workshop you learn about the different ways price can be calculated. We show you what influences the price and how you can make sure that your price covers your true cost.
This is a practical workshop that works through a real world example which can then be translated across to look at your own business pricing strategy.
